1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the FlatMate mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of the Service

FlatMate is a shared-living management application that allows groups of flatmates to track and split shared expenses, manage bills, assign chores, and communicate within their home.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

5. Financial Data and Settlements

FlatMate is a tool to track and organise shared financial obligations. The App does not process payments, hold funds, or act as a financial institution. You are solely responsible for any financial agreements made between you and your flatmates.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the App. By submitting content, you grant us a licence to store and display that content solely for the purpose of operating the App.

7. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.
